I was brought up with the belief that a woman should know how to take care of their household. That as women, we are the ones in-charge at home. It isn't rocket science. It's a fact. It's a rarity to find men who do find the time and means to maintain a well-cleaned, well-organized home, with their jobs and busy schedules, not to mention, it isn't in their genepool to do menial tasks.

Although I wouldn't say I am in the "Martha Stewart" level, I could consider myself a pro at keeping my home spic and span, and well-maintained at that. I've been doing that for some time now and nothing's changed. I am still the neat freak that I used to be. I'm just thankful that my husband isn't as sloppy as other men are.

Honestly, I dream of having our very own place someday, a big house with a beautiful kitchen complete with top-of-the-line equipment & gadgets for baking, a gorgeous living room, and a spacious lawn where I can try my gardening skills which I know is hidden somewhere. But up until that day comes, I will be satisfied with the humble home my parents generously gave me..
Leihson often wonders why I do my cleaning at night. I didn't notice it though until he mentioned about it. I guess I just happened to fall into this routine. I like to think I'd be waking up to a well-tidy home.. Something in me feels at peace knowing that I won't be going to bed with a dirty floor or a dusty living room. Besides, our house is my sanctuary.
So guys, here it is, our humble yet very clean abode..
